CATCH YOUR SHARE OF R2M | YESPLAY PRO20 CUP SET TO REVIVE DOMESTIC CRICKET

JOHANNESBURG: Two million rand will be up for grabs as South Africa’s premier domestic cricket competition welcomes YesPlay as the title sponsor of the newly formed Pro20 Cup.

The multi-year partnership will see the YesPlay Pro20 Cup, a refreshed 16-team T20 competition, become one of the most anticipated additions to the South African sporting calendar.

As title sponsor, YesPlay will play a central role in shaping the in-stadium experience while introducing a fresh and exciting fan-centric offering for the YesPlay Pro20 Cup.

In a first for the competition, fans attending any YesPlay Pro20 Cup match will stand a chance to catch their share of R2 million, extending the excitement beyond the boundary rope to venues across the country.

Unlike traditional promotions limited to selected fixtures, the R2 million prize opportunity will be available across all 71 tournament matches, including non-televised fixtures, giving ticket holders a chance to walk away with their share of the prize money. (Terms and conditions apply).

Cricket South Africa Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki, said:

“The launch of the YesPlay Pro20 Cup is an important step in the evolution of our domestic game, and having a partnersuch as YesPlay come on board for the journey adds another exciting dimension to the competition.

“This partnership is about creating experiences around the game, connecting with our fans and finding new

ways to celebrate the talent and excitement that exists within our pathway.

“We look forward to seeing the YesPlay Pro20 Cup come to life.”

YesPlay Chief Executive Officer, Tebogo Makamo, said:

“We are delighted to be the title sponsor of the YesPlay Pro20 Cup and to be part of this exciting new chapter for domestic cricket in South Africa.

“The competition provides an important platform to showcase the depth of cricketing talent across our provinces, while giving fans the opportunity to experience high-quality T20 cricket in stadiums across the country.”

“We’re proud to support Cricket South Africa in growing the game at a domestic level and look forward to bringing fans closer to the action throughout the tournament.”
